The outside of the Cathedral of Catedral de Nuestra Senora de la Almudena which stands opposite the Royal Palace. The Royal wedding of Prince Felipe and Letizia Ortiz took place here in 2004. The Cathedral was only finished in 1993 and due to a lack of money and ecclesiastical rivalry took 350 years to finish.
