Antarctic ice mass change 2003-2013. Map showing the changes in Antarctic ice mass between 2003 and 2013. There has been an overall mass loss, as shown by the graph at bottom left, during this decade. However, as the map shows this loss has not been uniform across the continent. The West Antarctic Ice Sheet (left) has seen significant loss of mass (dark red). A large proportion of the continent has seen no change (white), while some areas have seen a small increase (blue) in ice mass.
