At the great show of the Dahlia Society of California, September, 1921, it was awarded the first prize for the best 25 flowers in competition with ten of the best growers. It was also awarded the first prize for the best individual flower exhibited at the Oakland, California, ex- hibition. The plant is of exceptional clean, vigorous, erect habit of growth, producing its flowers on unusally long stiff stems. These are of splendid decorative form, measuring fully nine inches across, and are of a pleasing lively shade of solferino-pink with white suffusion, which brightens and in- tensifies its color, which is equally fine under natural as well as artificial light. A magnificent Dahlia that will please and prove satisractory in all parts of the country. We offer strong divisions of field roots ready in April, $ each. Princess Pat.
