HMS Defender (D36) returned to Portsmouth, UK on 9/12/2021. The air defence destroyer was one of the units in the carrier strike group deployed to the Indo-Pacific.


Crew are lined up on deck in Procedure Alpha for a ceremonial entry into port. HMS Defender (D36) left Portsmouth, UK on the 25th February 2022 as part of the UK / NATO response to the Russian military invasion of Ukraine.
