Gharial (Gavialis gangeticus) skull. This crocodile-like reptile has a distinctive long narrow snout adapted to catching small fish (with the teeth seen here). It can reach a length of over 5 metres, with skull lengths of over 70 centimetres. It is found in rivers in most of Pakistan and in north-eastern India.
