Antiwar activists held a vigil, march and demonstration in New York City today marking the 16th Anniversary of the US invasion of Afghanistan, the longest war in American history. Sixteen years later, thousands of American soldiers have been killed, and there seems to be no end in sight to the war. Now the trump Administration wants to ramp it up even more. Literally trillions of dollars have been spent on it with seemingly nothing to show.
