Picturesque views and unforgettable panoramas and a great variety of flowers over an area of 600,000 sq. m: it could be the description of a corner of heaven, but is nearer than you might think, just off the main arteries of stone´s throw from Lake Garda, the Parco Giardino Sigurtà is a wonderful fusion of a park, or wooded area of tall trees, and a garden, as a bounded space with flower beds and ornamental plants. Purchased in 1941 from Dr Carlo Sigurtà, the Park was first opened to the public on 19th March 1978. Since that time this natural oasis has enchanted thousands of visitors (including illustrious Nobel prize winners and heads of state), and has been referred to by internationally renowned botanists as one of the world´s most extraordinary gardens.
