Lots of apples on sale, wildlife displays, apple identification experts puzzling over rare varieties and lots of freshly pressed juice - the apple press worked hard all day to satisfy the thirst of almost 1000 visitors.
The annual Apple Day which is always an enjoyable family day organised by the AONB. An invitation to find out all about the orchards of the Arnside & Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the wildlife they support, tasting and buying varieties of apple which you don't see in the shops, as well as sampling freshly-pressed apple juice and other orchard produce.
