Hereford Cathedral, detail of Norman or Romanesque nave looking south east C12-C13, restored c. 1790 by James Wyatt and c. 1849 by Cottingham. Arcades of metre wide columnar piers with twin attached shafts, leading to arches with much chevron decoration. Above the arcades all restored by Wyatt.
