Emily Frost, an Anti-Submarine Warfare/Surface Warfare (ASW/SUW) Warfare Tactics Instructor from Naval Surface and Mine Warfighting Development Center (SMWDC) briefs the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock ship USS Arlington (LPD 24) crew ahead of advanced training events. Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) is completing the Navy’s first East Coast ARG Surface Warfare Amphibious Tactical Training (SWATT) exercise. SWATT is led by SMWDC and is designed to increase warfighting proficiency, lethality and interoperability of participating units.
