Working dinner meeting at the headquarters of the Partido Socialista, in the Largo do Rato, Lisbon, on Sunday, chaired by George Papandreou, elected last year president of the Socialist International, and having as host the secretary general of the Partido Socialista, António José Seguro, who is vice president of the organization. At the meeting of the Council will be present in Cascais IS 250 representatives of 90 delegations of political parties and organizations around the world.

At the meeting of the Council will be present in Cascais IS 250 representatives of 90 delegations of political parties and organizations around the world, including figures such as former Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou, the secretary general of IS, Chilean Luis Ayala, Prime Minister of Cape Verde, José Maria das Neves, and President of the Constituent Assembly of Tunisia, Mustapha Ben Jaffar, the former presidential candidate Ségolène Royale and French PSOE leader and former vice president of the Spanish government Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba, among others, released the PS Portuguese, in a statement. António José Seguro, who also will speak at the open meeting of the Council of IS, on Monday in Cascais, was elected vice president of the International Socialist Congress held in South Africa, with the fourth Secretary-General of the Socialist assume positions direction of the organization, after Mário Soares, José Sócrates and António Guterres, who was president.
