service members supporting Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) prepare supplies, personnel, and equipment at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, March 26, 2019, for the Department of Defense’s relief effort in the Republic of Mozambique and surrounding areas following Cyclone Idai. Teams from CJTF-HOA, which is leading DoD support to relief efforts in Mozambique, began immediate preparation to respond following a call for assistance from the Agency for International Development’s Disaster Assistance Response Team.
