Tianyi Market is the latest wholesale market closes its doors after 25 years of operating and some 1,500 shops are forced out in Beijing. Beijing is hoping to get rid of all wholesale markets within its Fourth Ring Road by 2020 in order to reduce its population by 15 percent, a total of some two million people, by 2020.
