In the words of the pilots themselves "we shot up everything that looked like a target". The boys were rewarded- film actress Marjorie Riordan obliged them with a set of autographed panties- while Faye emerson, recently married to Col Elliot Roosevelt, son of the President, sent them her slip bearing her signature. The pilots are highly proud of their collection, which are now displayed on the walls of the PRESS PHOTO SHOWS: Major John B. England, who has shot down 18 enemy planes takes a keen interest in a slip sent to the pilots by Faye Emerson.'
