Worcester, UK. 13th Feb, 2014. The River Severn at Worcester exceeded the record flood levels of 2007 reaching (18ft 7in) on 13 February 2014. With the main city centre road bridge closed to traffic for several days as a precautionary measure only the railway bridge remains in use. A First Great Western Class 150 Sprinter crosses the River Severn at its peak on 13 February 2014 as it approaches Worcester Foregate Street with a Great Malvern to Brighton service.
