CANADIAN NATIONAL EXHIBITION GOES OVER MILLION THE Canadian National Exhibitionclosed this year the record year ofits history. Ever since 1913 theeffort has always been to once againreach the million mark, but during thewar years it has been impossible toequal the figures of the pre-war Peace Year Exhibition, however, notonly equalled the old figures, but faroutstripped them, and very nearlyreached the objective of a million and aquarter. It was a really unusual Exhibition inevery way. It was opened by His RoyalHighness the Prince of Wales amid ascene of enthusiasm that has never beenequalled in Toronto, and it carried on ina high tide of entimsiasm through thecourse of the two weeks, and it closedlast Saturday night with a grand totalof attendance of 1,201,500.
