On account of the exaggerated inclination of the pelvis it may be necessary tomake an examination with the patient upon her side. An osteomalacic pelvishas been taken for a kyphotic, a Robert, a pseudo-osteomalacic, a cancerous, ora fractured pelvis, but a careful, methodical examination of the patient willalways lead to a correct diagnosis.
