Steel upright bars are much better than wire mesh, for the wire does not have the strength and will rust out in a short time. Harness hames will not catch m these bars and tear them out as they do with the wire stall guards. Uprights of round steel spaced 3 inches apart fitted into 1 i^-in. O. D. top horizontal and securely riveted through a 1^ in. x ^4 in. channel below. Furnished either square or O. G. end. Standard lengths 6 feet but made any length special. Height of guard 26 inches. Fitting on upper horizontal provides adjustment if post to whicti it is attached is not exactly vertical. Either style guards also furnished with 20-gauge galvanized sheet solid end, as illus- trated above. Swinging Panel Front Horizontals and vertical frame of Ps-in. O- D. pipe.
