A tall cast iron hand operated village water supply pump in the heart of a rural village sat beside the roadside and leaning to one side.
The village water supply pump donated by R T Palmer esquire to the inhabitants of Sonning village, this old cast iron pumping machine was made by Barrett Exall and Andrewes engineers Reading. The pump is now leaning somewhat but is kept in nice condition.
