Each and every Techonian should be justly ])roud of the pastyears record, but at the same time should make it only a steppingstone to greater and finer things. AN APPRECIATION The staft wishes to extend an a]ipreciation to Miss Finchs officepractice class for the excellent cooperation of the past year. A RESUME OF THE SEMESTERS WORK This semester the military department started out with betterfacilities than it did last semester. It was inconvenienced, it is true,with close quarters, but all were patient, because, after all, the restof the school worked under a similar handicap. A series of lectureson map drawing and organization of companies and platoons wasgiven. A new sj^stem was started whereby the freshmen were sep-,arately drilled by experienced cadet officers who were designated asassistant instructors. A course of fire on the 40 foot range indoorswas established, most of the
