The Ford Escort 1100 Popular is a rear wheel drive car, with its engine placed in the front, and a 2 door saloon (sedan) bodyshell. The 4 cylinder, overhead valve naturally aspirated powerplant has 2 valves per cylinder and a volume of litres.
