One night several years ago teamstersdrove three bears from tlie top of a single one of these big wagons. This wild animal paradise contains thirty thousand elk, severalthousand moose, innumerable deer, many antelupe, and a large andincreasing herd of wild bison. It is an excellent bird preserve also; more than a hundred and fiftyspecies live natural, undisturbed lives. Eagles abound among thecrags. Wild geese and ducks are found in profusion.
