Notwithstandingthis desecration, we are informed (from the Statist iced Account,North Berwick, vol. ii. p. 331) that a young lady, in the presenceof her father, was here solemnly confirmed in the Roman Faithand profession; and the due Ritual services were gone throughin the presence of the Keeper of the Bass and his SLEZEirs VIEW OF THE BASS IX ITS FOKTIFIED GOO. 1.
