The intensity of the leaf-spot diseases for these vears is shown in Table XXI as per cent, in 1922, per cent.^in 1923, and per cent, in 1924. These three indexes indicate an average annual in- tensity of per cent. The average annual prevalence and intensity of the cherry and plum diseases are compared graphically in Figure 28. Brown-rot may be seen to be less prevalent on cherries than on plums and much less prevalent on cherries than is the leaf spot either on cherries or plums. On plums, brown-rot and leaf spotting are nearly equally prevalent. —6.
