Three pallets of Army luggage is loaded aboard a North Carolina Air National Guard (NCANG) C-17 Globemaster III Aircraft as part of the very first C-17 mission for the NCANG to Pope Army Airfield, while at Pope Army Airfield, Fayetteville North Carolina, August 1, 2018. The mission to Pope Field is the first of what is hoped to be many, by October the 145th Airlift Wing plans to begin supporting Airdrop missions with weekly flights to Pope Field, picking up Soldiers and Cargo for regular Airborne operations.
