A German battle axe, 1st half of the 16th century. Curved edge, the back serrated, with point perforations. Deeply struck smith mark on the left. Sturdy rectangular socket with short quadrangular spike, the top of the socket with cover sheet. Heavy, minimally worm-eaten shaft with somewhat pitted iron languets. Length 125 cm.
