Whalers base Leith Harbour, South Georgia


The whalers base Leith Harbour was foundet by the Christian Salvesen Ltd., Edingburgh in 1909. Leith Harbour was the greatest of the seven whaling stations on South was given up in 1965. Nowadays Seals and King penguins live among the deserted ruins.
