A South German flintlock rifle,circa 1780. Octagonal,slightly swamped,seven-groove rifled barrel in 14 mm calibre. Dovetailed front sight and cut,adjustable iron rear sight. Smooth flintlock with a(broken)set trigger. Carved walnut full stock with patchbox,horn nose and smooth brass furniture. The wooden trigger guard reinforced with brass,wooden ramrod with horn tip. The stock slightly broken underneath the lock,glued and with a small repair.
