19th July 1950. London. England. Paramount Chiefs from Sierra Leone Jaia Kaikai, Kai Samba, and Alkali Inodu III, take a look at the view from the terrace of County Hall, during a visit to the headquarters of the London County Council. With the chiefs is Mrs. Helen C. Bentwich, Vice-Chairman of the Council. In the background can be seen the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, across the river. The chiefs made the six week visit to Britain under the auspices of the British Council to see something of life in Britain.
