Coast Guardsmen seize Japanese Soldiers At Sea. (No. 1 in a series of 3) Two Japanese soldier deserters are taken prisoner by crew members from the Coast Guard-manned attack cargo ship looming in background after they had sailed their tiny craft 260 miles from Nauru Island, where they worked in a labor battalion. Mindful of Japanese trickery, the Coast guard "boarding party" keeps the sun to its back as it approaches the skiff.
