Vase. A dark-colored vase. The body of the vase is oval-shaped and rests on a pedestal foot. Two handles in the shape of female figures extend upwards from the sides, and the body is decorated with a scene of Prometheus and the eagle in relief. The neck narrows to a pointed (Recto, mount) upper right, printed in black ink: "PLATE CLXX." Lower center, printed in black ink: "HANLEY. / 329. VASE OF BLACK WARE. BY J. VOYEZ. / Sir T. W. Holburne. italicized"
