A new American variety of recent introduction ; it has been subjected to the most critical tests, by eminent agriculturists in many sections of the coun- try, during the past season, with the most favorable results. As early as the Early Rose, excellent table qualities, and keeps well, of extraordinary productiveness, freedom from disease, producing nearly all large-sized potatoes; baked or boiled they are very mealy and white as snow.
