YOKOSUKA, Japan (June 26, 2018) – Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka holds an observance ceremony in honor of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month. The event included speeches by three Sailors who talked about the importance of equality and their experiences as members of the LGBT community and a cake cutting. FLEACT provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet's forward-deployed naval forces, 71 tenant commands, and 27,000 military and civilian personnel.
