Low Traffic Neighbourhood in Oxford changes to using ANPR cameras to catch offenders instead of closing the road with wooden bollards

Two local residents conduct a survey of the type of traffic passing through a low traffic neighbourhood restriction which has recently had ANPR cameras installed instead of wooden bollards in the roadway. There has been fierce debate surrounding these measures since they were put in place from 2022, with some praising the positive impact in terms of safer streets and others decrying the loss of freedom and negative imoact on their businesses.
