Chateau de Balleroy, Balleroy, Normandy, France. Musee des Ballons. Hot air balloons museum

Chateau de Balleroy, Balleroy, Normandy, France. A long tree lined road leads through Balleroy to Chateau de Balleroy. The symmetrical pink and grey Chateau is a 17th century mansion, and overlooks the Drome Valley. It was built by Francois Mansart for Jean de Choisy. Malcolm Forbes, the American publishing magnate, bought it in 1970. His passion for ballooning inspired the Musee des Ballons that traces the sport's history.
