SAN DIEGO (Nov. 14, 2016) Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Spruance (DDG 111) render honors as the ship returns to Naval Station San Diego Nov. 14 completing a seven-month deployment. Spruance and the guided-missile destroyers USS Decatur (DDG 73) and USS Momsen (DDG 92), deployed in support of maritime security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region as part of the inaugural 3rd Fleet Pacific Surface Action Group (PAC SAG) under Commander, Destroyer Squadron (CDS) 31.
