Croston Parish Church, Lancashire, England


The parish church of Croston, dedicated to St. Michael, in the deanery of Leyland, and the archdeaconry, of Chester, is a large structure, consisting of a tower, nave, side aisles, chancel, and two chapels, and is situated near the middle of the village in the vale of the Yarrow. The tower is a strong square pile, castellated and adorned with pinnacles, and contains an excellent peal of eight bells.
