Staff Sgt. KC Zens, 372nd Training Squadron, Detachment 12 F-35 avionics instructor, leads Tech. Sgt. Sean Deuerlein, 372nd TRS, DET 12 F-35 avionics instructor, through his lesson plan during a mock class July 12, 2021, at Luke Air Force Base, Arizona. Teamwork between instructors enhances the overall abilities of each instructor. Zens, a transgender Airman, transitioned while serving in the Air Force and educates other Airmen about his journey. Diversity and inclusion is imperative for the Air Education and Training Command and strengthens the Air Force as a whole.
