A flintlock pistol, Karlsbad or Suhl, circa 1750. Round barrel with smooth bore in 12 mm calibre with a mid rib. Iron flintlock engraved with a seated Diana and a trophy bundle. Carved walnut stock with horn nose cap and bronze furniture chiselled in relief. Ancient warrior on the butt cap. Both the escutcheon and trigger guard bear grotesque masks. Replacement ramrod.
