The market also had a large supply of all kinds of greens, and some excel- lent smilax, asparagus and adiantum were noted. The retailers had a splendid week of business, as there were plenty of social events and a number of large funerals. The extraordinarily large receipts of all seasonable flowers looked as though the business was dull, but it was not. Various Notes. The florists' publicity committee held a well attended meeting April 6, at publicity headquarters. There was a great deal of important business to transact. One thing was the appoint- ment of a committee to take charge of the "Say It with Flowers" week, which will be held at the Missouri theater beginning April 23.
