A cursory examination made inthe Associations laboratory, disclosedthe fact that the stuff containedbenzoic acid apparently in combinationwith potassium; this, of course, in ad-dition to the opium it contained. Ascat-co also contains 13 per cent, of amount of opium in this Austrianprescription is gradually diminishing.
