Wool-leys train; he remained at that pointin charge of stock and provisions whilethe train traveled to Florence and February, 1866, he married ThurzaSymes, who died Aug. 5, 1867,one monthafter giving birth to a daughter. Inthe meantime Bro. McRae was or-dained an Elder by Dr. Sprague, and in1868 he married Christine Jensen, by 568 LATTER-DAY SAINT whom he has had eight children—foursons and four daughters. He wasordained a Seventy in 1808, and becameidentified with the 32nd quorum. In1869-70 he filled a short mission to theUnited States, laboring principally inMississippi and Alabama. Having re-sided In Mill Creek Ward for nine. years, he moved to Brighton Ward in 1881, and to North Jordan Ward in 1882. July 29, 1883, he was ordained aHigh Priest and set apart as first coun-selor to Bishop Samuel Bennion, whichposition he filled till Feb. 24, 1884, whenthe Granger Ward was organized andhe was chosen, ordained and set apartto preside over the same as position he has now filled withhonor and integrity for over seventeenyears. MILiLER, Uriah Gardner, Bishopof Murray Ward, Salt Lake county,Utah, is the son of Reuben P. Millerand Margaret Gardner, and was bornat Mill Creek, Salt Lake county, Utah,Nov. 2S, 1874. He was baptized by El-der Christian Jensen, June 5, 1884; or-dained a Deacon Nov. 28, 1887, by JensHansen: ordained a Priest Nov. 2,1S94. by Jens Hansen: ordained an El-der Feb. 9, 1896, by Elder Osguthorpe;ordained a Seventy June 1.
