AND A. There are two sets of hangings around the room, onered and the other black. On the table of shew-bread, in the Tabernacle, is asilver vessel containing perfumed oil. OFFICERS AND CLOTHING. The Assemblage is styled The Court. The pre-siding officer represents Moses, and is styled MostPuissant Leader. He sits in the East. Near him, onhis right, is the second officer, who represents Eleazar,the High-Priest, the son of Aaron. He is styled MostExcellent High-Priest, and wears the full-dress of hisoffice, as described in the 23d degree. On the left ofthe Leader sits the third officer, clothed as the Priestsin that degree, and representing Ithamar, the son ofAaron. He is styled Excellent Priest. The Orator represents the Puissant Prince Eliasaph, theson of Lael, of the house of Gershon, and sits in the West.
