(Original) An examination in the fall showed that this species was rather abundant at Albion and promises to cause considerable injury an- other spring unless controlled by timely spraying. The cigar case bearer was by far the more abundant though a few specimens of the pistol case bearer, Coleophora malivorella Riley, were also present in the orchard.
