AL HAMRA, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES (June 20, 2022) – A Marine assigned to Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team Central Command fires an M2A1 machine gun during exercise Iron Defender 22 at Al Hamra training camp, UAE, June 20. Iron Defender is an annual bilateral training event between Naval Forces Central Command and forces from the United Arab Emirates. The exercise focuses on maritime security operations, mine countermeasures and harbor defense.
