A percussion rifle, Baker, London, circa 1850, Beautiful octagonal Damascus barrel with multiple grooves in 16 mm calibre with patent breechblock and barrel rib on the underside. Dovetailed front side with triple folding rear sight, inscription "BAKER LONDON" engraved at the breech. Florally engraved percussion lock with cock safety, single set trigger and signature repeated on the lock plate. Walnut half stock with horn tip, chequered butt and iron furniture engraved en suite.
