A slender vigorous grower, hardy tothe tips; fruit somewhat larger than Fameuse and more oblate; not so subjectto spot: flavor of good character. Evidently of Fameuse type, and well worthyof extended trial. Suttons Beauty: Planted 1896. A weak growing tree subject to cankerand sun scald; dying off from year to year.
