Veterans of Operation "MARKET GARDEN" along with Soldiers assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) and 2nd Brigade Combat Team attend a memorial service during the 78th anniversary of the operation which included various orators, poetry, laying of wreaths, national anthems and a minute of silence on Sept. 11, 2022, at Veghel, Netherlands. They were able to reconnect with Dutch citizens and together they were able honor and remember the brave actions of the men that fought to liberate Holland from German occupation during World War II.
