160831-N-XN177-033 YOKOSUKA, Japan (August 31, 2016) – The Valiant-class yard tugboat USS Menominee (YT 807) assists the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier, USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) pull pier-side at Fleet Activities (FLEACT) Yokosuka. FLEACT Yokosuka provides, maintains, and operates base facilities and services in support of 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, 83 tenant commands, and 24,000 military and civilian personnel.
