A little boy is seen pulling his sled to the top. The Netherlands woke up with a layer of snow covering most of the country. The meteorological institute KNMI has issued a Code Red weather alert for the entire country. Groups of people and families were sledding in the snow at the Kronenburg Park in Nijmegen. In the eastern part of Gelderland and around Nijmegen the snow level will increase to around 25 centimeters of snow before the snow stops.
